Why Women's Wellness?

Hi! My name is Cindy Adams, and I am a qualified Aromatherapist & certified Natural Therapist. But who am I really? And why 'Scents of Self'?

To be as honest and authentic as I can, let me start by saying, I have definitely lost my sense of self at different times throughout my life. 

Every woman has a story to tell. And, almost every woman I meet is more than happy to share! It soon became apparent that many women, like me, had some chronic illnesses, tolerated common pregnancy ailments, suffered miscarriages, experienced natural childbirth and surgeries, endured postpartum, and learned to cope with grief and loss. 

If only I knew then, what I know now! 

So, I used my personal life experiences to create a natural aromatherapeutic range of products for women's health & wellbeing. My vision is to encapsulate the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms with a form of beautiful natural healing. And voila! After three years of formal study, extensive independent research and many experimental trials and errors, Scents of Self was born.

It became a dream of mine to help women naturally and holistically throughout the different phases of their lives. My women's wellness range reflects my personal life's journey, so far, and my antenatal range reflects my heart and soul's life purpose . Not only because nothing else compares, but because during that time of our lives, we experience every physical, mental, emotional and spiritual connection with such overwhelming intensity.
